Bitzi One of my pet peeves, and I have mentioned it here before. Limewire adds new features, and then does not explain what it does, or how to use it. Its not in the user guide (unless I missed it all three times I looked), Its not indicated on the screens, no indication of its even working, but its listed as a new feature. What is Bitzi? How does it help me in my search, and use of Limewire? Is it automatic, is it a process I have to begin? Does it really exist outside of an honorable mention in the "new features". One can see the frustration. Dennis |
Bitzi is a service which gives you more information about a specific file. The file is identified by its hash or its name although the hash way is more secure. You get informations like: Artist: Mozart (Glenn Gould) Title: Mozart - Sonata No. 09 D Major - I: Allegro con spirito Album: Mozart- The Piano Sonatas Track: 07 Duration: 2:38.400 Encoding: 128kbps Sampling: 44.1khz Those informations are submitted by other users. is this explanation enough? If not, check out www.bitzi.com yourself |
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. |
Ta! |
I always thought bitzi was a crepe type cheese filled delicacy that I used to get at Katz's in lower manhattan?....or was that blintz? |
Blintz... I always had the potato ones. |

UGH!! This place if full of comedians tonight!:D :p |
Oh yes! The potato ones were great! With a little sour cream or apple sauce on top. MMMM YUM. The hash remark also reminded me of the Potato pancakes. Latkas....I miss the Big Apple. Here in the Big Oven, it's "do you want hot or mild salsa with your taco...." :) |
