Why cant i search for files at the top of the scree it says disconected. I go to reconnect and it wont work. do i have to renew my membersip or something. At the bottomof the screen where it says sharing files the light is red. why is that.

One of the LimeWire servers is down - it isn't essential for LimeWire except as a default place to connect to the gnutella network.

Go to the connections tab (you may need to enable it from the 'View' menu option) and enter *IP address removed* and click add. This should re-connect you to the network.
