LimeWire with Jabber support

Hi, I'm looking for testers for my modified version of LimeWire with Jabber support.

You can download it here:
(Windows)
http://mitglied.tripod.de/mdsgeist/LimeWire.zip

(Linux/Solaris)
http://mitglied.tripod.de/mdsgeist/LimeWire.tar.gz

(Source)
http://mitglied.tripod.de/mdsgeist/limewire_src.tar.gz

If you want to participate in the test, please download and install the modified LimeWire version, register a new jabber account (if you don't already have an account) and send a message to mdsgeist@jabber.org (this is not an email address but a jabber ID).

This version will not run on MacOS or MacOSX (if you don't compile it yourself).

[edit]

I spent two weeks adding jabber (which is an open instant messaging protocol, as you probably do not know) support to limewire. When it was almost working, I sent this notice to the forum, to find people who would test it to help me finding bugs and add usability to my addition to LimeWire so jabber support could be added to the official version as soon as possible and then an obviously completely [edit] thinks it's necessary to post his [edit] spam icon.

[edited - Krieger calm down, we can ban you a second time]

**** you Morgwen, will you? I can create another account anytime I want.

Let's stop this discussion, it won't lead anywhere.

By the way, jabber support is now working, stable and - as far as I'm concerned - ready to be released.

Help me out, Morgwen... what are the two primary rules of these forums???

I edited the flames... about spamming I think its no spamming, this is a 100% Gnutella topic, perhaps the Limewire developers donīt want this in their forum... if so they could it move to the general section. At least it doesnīt fit in the beta forum, I will move it to the open discussion... and ONE thread is enough.

I donīt know if you want to be funny or if you are only ignorant?

I told you our two basic rules!!! Especially the NO FLAMING RULE - remember?

But I think if we have some time we will work on a guidance for you and krieger.

I will ban you at once with your new account. Your time here is over...

I deleted this thread.

't wasn't the first time I was banned and it certainly won't be the last time.

Krieger88 had a nasty tendency to flame the heck out of people who "crossed" him, even delicately. Heck... he's f-worded me to death in the past and present. Regardless of a person's talent, that type of flaming just isn't necessary.

I think Morgwen was right to put it to an end. A "reminder" of sorts to present and future members that Gnu forums won't put up with that kind of crap.
