Quality

What is the quality rating? Everything basically gets a quality of 4, I have some low quality recordings of songs that are complete but interesting. Why would I lower their quality rating. Are these quality things used by other clients(Morpheus, Kazaa, etc.). Basically what are they for?

thanks

Four STARS indicates optimal probability of successful download.

Each file is ranked with a number of stars from one star (the least likelihood of download success) to four stars (highly likely to achieve a successful download).

If you download a selection with 4 stars, you should have a successful download.

According to the source code, a busy host that is firewalled lowers the number of stars. A four star host is not busy and not firewalled and a one star host is busy and firewalled.
