gNutella for Macromedia Director or Flash

Does anyone know if it is possible to develop a gNutella client in Director or Flash?

Of course you can't, Flash and Director only use
a simple language like Javascript, you can't even use Winsock
or other methods to establish a TCP connection.

Why would you use those programs?
They are actually just for multimedia bullshit eyecandy presentations and also they take up much ressources.
