Limit of downloads per host

I'm assuming that a host limits the number of downloads any one computer can have. Is this forever, or can you re-visit a host at a later date and get more? When I typed in a host that I visited days ago, it listed the number of songs in their list, but none of them appeared in the window. Does this mean their computer is off, or have I reached my limit with them, and never will see their list again?

Also, my chat button doesn't bring up a chat window. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks!
Francine

The limit is temporary. For example LimeWire by default allows three uploads at a time per host. Once one of those files has transferred you can then transfer another file.

Also, I have found Browse Host will not work if the host is busy. You may not get an error that the host is busy so just keep trying to browse the host and eventually you'll get a file listing.
