i was wrong

the day the new limewire came out i said that there aws no diference and i was disapointed in that.

now i realize i was wrong- its worse.
i frequently loose the ability to use my kbd 4 anything i want to (its like the alt key is being held down at all times) and i also loose the ability to select more than 1 file at a time
closing and opening limewire isnt enough, i have 2 reboot (which i never do) to fix the problem
the only benefit i see from teh new limewire is it seems to connect faster to more hosts but even this is tempered with the fact that it deletes failed downloads from the list upon closing and opening the program (i do this when most of my downloads fall 2 0.0)

PLEASE FIX THIS LIMEWIRE!
until then im reinstalling the old version

Sounds Bad

If it is that bad why don't you try out one of the other clients.

Others have reported this as well, although we have not been able to diagnose the problem more precisely.

We will (for real this time) be releasing LimeWire 1.5 quite shortly, and it will include a new Java Runtime Environment that should handle keyboard interactions with the operating system more cleanly. Are you running LimeWire on Windows?

I would recommend installing that version when it is released, and uninstalling the others. The new version will also include several important new features, such as the ability to reduce LimeWire to the system tray and improved resume functionality. I would keep the LimeWire 1.3 installer around just in case, though.
