message 'could not download, awaiting sources'

What exactly does the new message mean "could not download, awaiting sources"?

Will Limewire keep trying or can I kill such download entries from the downloads list?

Why can it happen that a search finds a file on a seemingly available host (normal IP address, not 10.0. etc), but downloads always fail with the above message?

If you want LimeWire to find new sources you have to do another search for the file you are downloading manually. If LimeWire doesn't restart the download after the search results arrived kill it (unless it's a big file and already halfway downloaded - in that case I would retry later).

Thanks for your response. Just for clarification -

Does that mean: when the above message appears, I can make Limewire retry the connection for a file in the *download area* by repeating the search on the *search tab* that contained the file previously? Otherwise it will not retry to connect?

If you want LimeWire to find new sources, you have to do a search. If you just want to retry the old sources, you could hit the resume button instead but that won't work most of the time.
