my shared folder doesnt appear in my librayry!
 

JEEEEEZ i got limewire cus kazaa sux, and what do i get? a program that downloads songs but doesnt play them....what a rip off. any sugestions on how to make the folder appear?:eek:

I"m sorry that you feel Limewire is failing you somehow. Perhaps you might try opening Preferences under the Limewire tag. On the first Options page, you should see where the downloaded files are being saved. It should look something like /Users/yourname/Shared. Now go to Sharing and make sure that this same entry is showing in the box. Once these two entries match, your Shared file should show up in the Library window and enable you to play the tracks from the Library page. You can, of course, launch the files from the download window before you delete them. Or, given that the file is called Shared, you could go to it directly and, once it is opened, copy the MP3 files to whatever internal player you are using.

Hope this has helped and that you will think less violent thoughts about Limewire.

thx! but i still think that ALL file download programs are the devil and i want to kill the people who cant make a file sharing programe if their life depends on it (yet these people still make money off of rip-off programms) I only use limewire cus im too lazy/cheap to buy CDs and then transfer the songs onto my puter and then finally get them onto my minidisk. thx for listnening to my pathetic rant/rave!
