Launching problem

Why does the Launch feature not work at times? Sometimes I click Launch (from a downloaded file in library - as well as one I am currently downloading) - and it just flashes quickly but nothing happens. ????

Yes, sometimes it does not perform. As from the download window, the problem usually arises when you are downloading from a grouped source and none of the incomplete files contain useable data on their own (the collation and verification of incomplete files only takes place when the metadata records show a complete download). And, there can be a slight delay before a complete file is flagged as such for launching from Library. This should not be a problem for you to overcome since the MP3s can easily be added to the playlist of your internal player.

I can't launch songs anymore...i can launch the ones already downloaded but not any new ones no matter what it is. What should i do?

Have you found a solution? I am experiencing the same problems.. running MAC OS 9.2. Some of the downloads will launch, some (most) others will not launch. They show up with a different icon than the others that will launch. A plain document icon (sheet of paper).. I think these have something to do with the "incomplete" downloads we hear about... Still not sure but that is where I am investigating..

My MP3s that will launch show up as Quick TIme Document.. I do not have itunes. The ones that download and will not launch show up as a plain document with no other description.
