3.x = 2.x?

I thought 3.0 was supposed to bring Gnutella 2 or GUESS or whatever whizbang name you have for it? I see no difference from 2.x versions, so why the realease of 3.x versions?

The major changes happened on ultrapeer level. If you are running LimeWire as a leaf you won't see anything of it.
