DVD help needed
 

I'm new to downloading DVD's and need some basics. I am getting a Pioneer DVD player (the store clerk said this was a good player for viewing downloaded CDV's).

What I need to know is do I need to download mpg, mpeg, avi? I don't know what the difference is between these. Also if I download VHS can it be played on the DVD player?

I read the faq's and didn't see anythng re this. Also any hints on getting children's movies without all the porn?

Thanks. I use Nero to burn CD's, it does show SVCD. I don't see an option that shows PAL or NTSC. Is there a section on the Limewire website that I could read to learn more?

Now I'm not sure what I should be downloading, DVD...VHS...movie or video clip?

I appreciate the help...as you can see I really need it. :-)
