what's with speed?

I have noticed that in the menu under the speed section, where limewire tells us what connection speed the people we're downloading from have, that some of the speeds are labeled in green and others in just plain black. does anyone know why this is?

Green speeds are verified by LimeWire, the other ones only display the speed the user has entered.
