| Reethbrix | October 9th, 2003 01:43 PM | Can Mp3's be edited? I have a lengthy Mp3 of a concert that I would like to edit down to the individual songs. Can this be done (in a Mac X environment)? |

If you have windows i recommend goldwave (its free), if you are willing to pay cooledit pro is the choice |

It worked, but the resulting files were HUGE - 25-50 MB's for songs 3-4 minutes long. I can't figure out any way to save them any smaller...... |
| Blackbird | October 13th, 2003 07:44 AM | Afer you've saved them smaller in mp3 format, find a real mp3 ripper (itunes will work) and rerip the mp3s to the bitrate you want which shall reduce the size. |
