Limewire.org login I am a developer and am very interested in the limewire project. I have tried to register at limewire.org so that I can take a look at the limewire source and maybe even get involved in some projects. Unfortunately the registration process keeps returning a server error and I am unable to create an account. From the member statistics I think that everyone else must be having the same problem creating a new account as the member numbers are stuck on 20,886. I have been trying this for more than a week and the error still occurs. I have contacted feedback@limewire.org but I am yet to get a response. If anyone would be able to lead me in the right direction as to who I could possibly contact to set up a login it would be much appriciated. Thanks Zac |
The registration on LimeWire.org is broken, and we're really not too sure how to fix it. Fortunately, it's not necessary at all for involvement in the open source project. All source is available via anonymous CVS access, as well as from clicking on links throughout the .org site. You can also join the developer mailing lists. Take a look at: http://www.limewire.org/project/www/MailingList.html for information on how to join the mailing lists (dev@core & dev@gui are the more active ones). Information on how to access the source is at: http://core.limewire.org/servlets/ProjectSource and http://gui.limewire.org/servlets/ProjectSource , found from clicking on 'View Projects' -> 'limewire' -> either 'core' or 'gui' -> 'source'. Thanks, Sam |
