A friend told me that downloading songs from the gnutella networl (limewire) would cost 1.99 $ per Megabyte. is this true? I am using the basic version..

False, of the time being you can download music via LW and Kazaa (and others) for free. Some people call it illegal, but for now the only "legal" P2P is Nabster. Good luck.

those people are the ones who want all the money the can get so now some free mp3 sites you now pay for they should leave it as is but they cannot stand to see someone not pay for music:mad

hi i dont think this is bad as long as y share it dosent mater if y dl some stuf mp3 are good but cd are a lot beter y can here the difrenc if there is a cd i want i get it mp3 dl is just fun its fine copret compenys rul the wold but this helps get rid of them a bit but hay how can y say its bad its just that bad carmer from those big compenes biting them in ther ars so ^_^ *_* ¿-_-¿

From what I could understand of your post you think that downloading mp3s are of low quality and a waste of time? I have found that the people who have broadband connections and would much rather download than pay for a CD. I know I like free music. Just my opinion.

I feal the same if I here a MP3 I like I will go out and get. I like to listen to my music while I am the internet, my playlist has about 15 hours of MP3's :D if they think that making MP3's coust to download then I will buy cd's and I will buy MP3's off the internet instead.:rolleyes:
