Salut, to be an ultrapeer you have to:
1)OS: Win2K, WinXP, Linux, Mac OS X (os x server is not needed) 2)have a connection to internet with at least 128 kbps up and 160kbps down 3) have a high average uptime 4)have an enough fast computer (mine is a 450 mhz G3 and being UP takes 12-20% of the CPU). When you have LW runnning for more than say 6 hours , the next time you restart LW you should become UP if you meet the preceding conditions. (note that LW knows your upload speed when you upload something, so be sure to share interesting content). Bonne chance |

Actually you can become an ultrapeer with only 80kbps upstream. Your average uptime has to be at least 1 hour, your current uptime has to be 2 hours.
