Of course. Look at the File menu when in the Library Pane, or at the Options under Tools or Preferences,

Then consider the benefits of running as a leecher.

First Limewire has a freeloader option so you will get your files harder if you don´t share.

Second, this here is called file sharing!!! You will download your files so SHARE yours, if all people stop sharing where do you want to download your files from?

And please if you don´t share don´t come back and whine about the slow speed, you are one of the reason!!!

I just started using LimeWire and had downloaded one "object." I then noticed a little green button that said "Sharing 2 files." What 2 files am I sharing? I know on Kazaa-lite that the only things I share are the items I put into my shared folder. Do I have to put a clamp on ALL my folders/files before activating LimeWire?

LimeWire may also be sharing the LimeWire installer if you are using the free version.

I found the folder, which I should have looked for before going into panic mode.
