mpeg movies only last 50sec. on quicktime!!
 

hi there, i would need some help as a beginner.
i have just downloaded a couple of complete mpeg files but when i play them (i have a mac) with the léast version of quicktime, these fils only last 50 sec. despite they do more than 100Mo.
please help!

see if this thread helps (for links and other details). The problem with QT only showing a bit of a preview with some mpg's has been happening for quite a while. If you drag the slider to the end and back again, sometimes you can see other parts of the file. VLC or mPlayer will often play those files just fine.
