Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

 :( You see, I accidentally closed the sharing folder. As it turns out, I can no longer access my downloaded music, and can't download anymore. What am I to do? Help me please!

No problem, just run LW go to the library tab and under the file menu go to add folder to share. From there just find the LW shared folder with your music in it. What exactly do you have against the bunnies?(just joking)

Thank you sooooo much! Oh, lol. ( It was actually an incident at my uncles...the dang bunny bit my finger but ya) Wait, my sisters music isn't saved into a file....is there a way to restore the file? What, no reset button?

From the menu, go to Tools -> Options... -> Saving.
You can specify which directory you want to use for saving downloads.

Also, I tried, and my playlist file didn't show up. Also, I don't understand why I am no longer allowed to search?

Mabey you arent connected/don't have the right connections. You can control your connections by looking under the connections tab and removeing one or two hosts and seeing if you get more search results that way. I hope this helps.

I don't know what happened but, I feel dumb. I closed LimeWire, then reopened it. My sharing folder is back! Yet, my searching option is still paralyzed. Why?

deepblue February 7th, 2004 01:18 PM

Sometimes connections (and therefore searching) are affected by the time of day you try to connect. Try connecting later tonight and post back. Good luck.

Um thanks. Wait. Great. There is nothing in sy shared file! And, whenever I try to connect, it automatically disconnects.

Deathtothebunnies! February 7th, 2004 01:45 PM

Ya, well, now I can't connect at all. I am so confused!

What version of LW are you useing? If you want you can download the latest beta. I just put it in my signature so look there.

I recently downloaded beta...and I have been trying to connect. It failed, so I tried my old LimeWire..and still no connection.

You arent on a network that blocks Gnet or fileshareing or firewalled are you. That's the last thing that I can think of that could be causeing your problems. Post back.

Nope, none of those..I don't understand..... Geeze, this sucks.

deepblue February 7th, 2004 01:55 PM

Well I'm out of suggestions, but chances are that it will start working again later. So give it a little rest and try it again. Just keep trying and let me know what happens. Good luck.

You're probably right....it just says that it doesn't have a connection to the internet. Well, ya. Thanks...

deepblue February 7th, 2004 02:00 PM

Let me know when you get it to work and what happened or what you did. Or if it never connects you can let me know about that too. Good luck.

Well, it says: That my computer doesn't have an active internet connection or a firewall is blovking LImeWire from connection to the internet.

I don't understand that. Our firewall doesn't block that, and I have an internet connection.....
