question

I realize that in LimeWire, you can go to tools/options/view/autocomplete popups and uncheck the "enable autocompletion of text feilds" box, this will stop previous searches to pop up in the search bar. But as soon as you re-enable it, any searches that you have made will pop back up, in other words: they arnt deleted. This was, untill I tested closeing the program and opening it back up, which seemed to work, the search history was cleared/deleted.

Now, my question is if there is any way to recover search history. Perhaps its saved in some backup log?

thankyou.

If you deleted it it's probably gone. Unless you made an intentional back-up copy of it. That is the .INI file I mean.

FaNaTiK--I just searched the contents of my preferences folder, and no sign of my past searches. So, it looks like the terms are only stored in memory.

ok, I see. Too bad, I remember looking for this file but I cant seem to remember the exact name. Oh well, thank you.
