Possible security problem with Limewire 1.6 and other versions?

When installing LImewire 1.6 the first time I chose a special directory for downloads. But now I experience people downloading files which is not available in the directory. Is it
possible people have access to more of my harddisk than I "ask" Limewire to do?
First I chose one directory but decided not to use it and removed it. Then I chose the one that I wanted to use, but it seems that people still have access to the directory I first wanted to use.

Another thing is I am not able to kill selected uploaders.

You got a long way to go before it is capable of competing with Gnucleus and Bearshare.
