| Anyone have any info on where i would start to learn the java used to make Aqua Lime and such? I browsed around the sun java site and really couldnt wrap my head around what exactly I would need to start to develop java applications like Lime. Just wandering if anyone knew some tutorials showing step by step on how to start programming in java, I have basic knowledge of Visual Basic and very little C, so once I figure out what compiler I need and grab some source I will be fine just need a step up on what to get to start out. |

| Bruce Eckel's "Thinking In Java" isn't bad for beginners. And get yourself one of those "Java In A Nutshell" books, they are really handy when you are serious about some programming. Next thing you do is you checkout the LimeWire sources, think of a little something you would like to change and try to change it. If you have any questions, you can ask them on one of the devel mailinglists: dev@core.limewire.org dev@gui.limewire.org |
