Yup, you ARE supposed to have more than one folder: the Shared Folder.
This is were the downloaded files all go and, if you chose to share your files with the rest of us (wich you should- I mean it's p2p after all right?), from were files are uploaded by, well, uploaders.

Now, if you got Mac, then go to Preferences and then to Sharing were the folder were the downloads are being stored is specified.

Again, if you're on Windoze then I got no clue as to were you can find this Preferences or Options thing (probably under Tools or sumthin'). In that case, you'll have to wait for appropriate help from a Windoze expert.

P.S. If you had specified at least what OS you are using this would not happen you know.

Talon:
Normally you don't have to restart anything. If you found were the Shared folder is located on your computer then that is were ALL previously downloaded files are; unless the files you are talking about was not completed (in wich case you'll find it in the incompletes folder) then just browse the shared and it should be there.

Void:
If LW is otherwise working normally (aside from the player freeze of course) then quit the app and restart it to get it going again. If LW has entirely frozen then you have to Force quit it.

Remember, it is best to ease up the computers' load (don't have too many programs on at the same time unless you have a very good RAM). Also, remember that even an idle program is indeed using up RAM memory, thus slowing your computer.

Oh, and Talon, if you haven't found the shared folder and have instead specified a new location as the Shared, then you should know that this new folder will NOT contain any previous downloads.
If this is indeed the case then run a search thru your hard disk searching one of the files you had downoaded.
