How do you clear ur previous searches? Also, how do u stop limewire from completeting the words when you type in the search area?

You mean clear up theprevious searches from the "type your search" field?
You can't.:D
You have to completely quit the application and relaunch it so that the search field won't auto-complete whenever you try to type a search.

or turn if off in options. Pity though--it's really useful.

LOL. It's because of spelling mistakes that I like the feature. If I've typed a long filename and extension and made a mistake, it's easy to correct. I also like it when searching for clips in a series.
