Help New to Lime wire
 

:confused: New to LW but need help I download the music ok
I want to save to my music folder how do I do this?
then how do I burn from LW to CD.
Am also confused, on where it goes once downloaded, as I cannot find my music anywhere.
Remember I am a new comer nice clear instructions please on how to do the above, what I see of LW so far seems ok except
for the above.

By default your complete files go here: C:\Program Files\LImeWire\Shared. You can change the destination by running LW and looking under the tools tab and clicking options. Then go to saveing and find your MY Music folder from there. For burning you need burning software, if you don't have one, you can download one here. I use Nero, but I hear good things about Roxio too. Good luck.

Thanks deepblue for your info must still nothing happens.
I went in LW then tools, options, then clicked on saving which
is on the left side and nothing happens, at present it says
completed files go to c:/Documents and settings\Anna\shared
but there is nothing in my documents, how can I change this to go directly into my documents, or my music file?

I do have burning software Nero 6

So whats the next moved? What dose the shared mean at the end?

OK, you said that you wanted to save your music to the My Music folder, right? So the directory should look like this: C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Music. Although if you want to also share that file you must go to the shareing section of the options menu and add it to the list. I hope this helps.
