Question Moving MP3 Out Of Library

Hi,
Thanks for any help in advance. The first time I used Lime Wire I was able to move two MP3 files once I put them in my play list by hitting save and putting them in another folder so I could listen to them off line. I since played them off line and all was fine. Now today I went to listen to them off line and when I clicked on the file it said " you need to choose from a list to determine which program made this file" Or I could click another button which would automatically detect it. Since I didnt know what program made this file I choose automatic and the page came back as could not be displayed and the mp3's I downloaded from here and saved now will not work.

So I came back to my library in LiveWire and put the mp3's back in my play list to save them to my music folder and now the SAVE button does nothing when I click on it? Please help me figure out what is going on. I am using Pro. Have windows xp and connect using aol.

Jill

Default Still having trouble

I just rebooted my computer and then restarted Limewire and went back to the library added the mp3 to the play list as this is the only way I can see to save the mp3. The same thing happen again. First its not saving the mp3 as a music file, and then when I returned to try again the save button will NOT work.

I tried to find the mp3's I have on my computer from Limewire but cant locate them. This isn't my first day on the computer I know how to find stuff so this is really confusing me. Why cant I access the Limewire Library or my shared folder from the Limewire folder? Why is my save button sticking? And why cant I save the files to another folder? It worked last week but wont this week and the ones I saved last week or not MP3 files now and I cant re save them from my playlist on limewire.

Thanks again,
Jill

Type in the songname in windows search, and windows will locate the file for you.
Double click on it and the file wil open in windoze mediaplayer.

Default Thank You

Hi Raaf,
Thank you for the tip. Once I found it in search I was able to copy and paste it to the folder I wanted. Hopefully this time it doesnt change so I cant use it in a day or so.

Have a good day.
Jill
