Questions not in FAQ list
 

1. To the right of the green/red dot, bottom left corner of the screen, is the Connect/Disconnect box and to the right of it is a list of the number of hosts, files, etc. currently available. Why does the “hosts” list regularly turn to “Disconnected/No Files Available”? As I am still on line and the green “Connect” dot is green, I can still download files in process but cannot search for new files. Is it possible to go from “Disconnected/No Files Available” back to listing the hosts available myself (and be able to search again) or must I wait for the system to reconnect?

2. Why is the number of hosts available generally so low (e.g. 1 to 50) when for short periods, it often rises to the 500 – 1000 range? Can I do anything to maintain a higher number available?

3. What are the values for the four different levels of stars?

4. What do “T1, T3” stand for? How do they compare in speed to cable and modem?

5. When my upload limit is reached, can I reset it manually or do I have to exit LimeWire and restart it?
