Bum of a Program

What is the deal with this program? I want my money back. I searched for 8 movies tonight. Each one came back with over 900 responses. 99% of the responses are absolute garbage. Porn, trash movies, lots of things not searched for, how do you sift through all this junk to get what you are searching for? I have been on the LW for a few months now and am increasingly dissatsified. I use it less and less. How about just refunding my money?

If you care to look at the LW website you'll find that they do not offer refunds. It's not LW's fault that the files have misleading titles. Its the fault of users shareing the mis-titled files on the Gnutella Network. If you use Morpheus, BearShare, iMesh (and so on) you'll still get the same results you get with LW. Sorry, but you'll just have to deal with it if you download movies from the Gnet. Good luck.

I know they dont offer refunds. I wouldn't either if I was them. Point is, I'm tired of all the irresponsible people out there putting this trash on LW. It is really frustrating when you search, for say, Gods and Generals, and you get 300 responses, none of which have anything to do with G & G. A pox on everyone who knowlingly mislabels a file. What kind of perverse enjoyment do you get from that? Also, I know it happens on Bearshare and the other PtoP networks. But I have never experienced it to this degree in the 2 years or so that I have been trying to DL files. Clean it up folks.

I just tried your search, and 59 results came back--they looked OK

Try using an "Any Type" search and specifying the extension you want.

If you see spam results from a particular Location--right-click on that IP or Vendor and choose "block host."

And use the Filters if you don't want porn.

I've found that the "Any Type" search is the best one. I don't need to specify extensions though. For example, if I type "****", every one of my results has "****" in the filename.
