Lime wire
 

I download Limewire last night. This morning, I made the firewall changes ( adding Gnutella, setting the IP address) Now, whenever go to file, connects, it connects for a couple of seconds and disconnect. Can anyone help ?

I downloaded the most current release (4.0.7) and before this version I had no issues. But with this version I found the same and other problems (connects, disconnects and swamping my computer in general) I read a post here where he fixed the problems by not allowing java to act as a server. I reset the permissions in Zonealarm then denied Java access as a server. Fixed everything, hope it helps you also...
