Burning Downloaded Songs Im a new user of LimeWare and I have a few songs downloaded I want to burn onto a cd. I use Windows Media Player to burn cds usually but whenever I try to play or burn songs I downloaded on LimeWire in Windows Media Player an error message comes up saying 'Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the player does not support the format you are trying to play'. This only happens with the files I downloaded from LimeWire - all the songs I downloaded from Kazaa awhile ago work in there and burn fine ! Does anyone have an ideas on how to fix this ?? If you do let me know !!! Thanks ! Meghan |
Uh, what format are the files in? |
The songs all seem to be in mp3 form... |
Are you trying to get them to play from the Library window or directly from the Shared folder on your PC? (I figure it's the second) |
Some songs downloaded into my Shared Music folder where all my older songs are and those songs that I downloaded in LimeWire that I try to carry over into WIndows Media Player won't work, but neither will the LimeWire folder either... is this making sense?? thanks for trying to help me !!! Meghan |
I'm not sure I'm completely following you here. Are you capable of playing the songs in LW with the LW mp3 player? And does this happen with every song song you dld with LW? |
another good source to burn with is jetaudio.com... its a free and good software |
