i have a strange problem

umm for some reason i cant see the name of the files im downloading. it wouldnt be so bad except im on dialup, so i cant download 50 megs in a minute or anything, but i need some files before others. is there anyway i can make it visible w/o reinstalling or cancelling all downloads. i can see the names in the library, but i dont have the time to sit and restore all downloads 1 by 1, or try and refind the files or anything. any suggestions that may be of help, other than reinstall and cancel all downloads. thanks

Sounds like a Java problem. Go see if you got the latest version and if you do, uninstall the one you have and reinstall it.

i downloaded version 4.0.7 and 4.1.2 BETA and the problem still persists with both versions. i still cant see the titles or anything. any other help you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Perhaps a stupid question, but did you install it as well ?

Right-click on the column headers in the download tables, and make sure 'Name' or ('File', or something like that) has a checkmark next it. If it doesn't, click on it and check it.

Or, right-click on the column headers in the download table and click 'Revert to Default'.

Or, go to Tools -> Options, choose 'Revert To Default', and restart LimeWire.
