Wow, I've never heard of that one (then again, aside from VLC, mplayer, Quicktime, Winamp, Real and WMP, I don't really know much about other players). This one looks rather nice. If it seems to play everything, you might also want to have VLC or/and Mplayer as back-ups/alternatives, just in case.

Oh woops! Not the 1st mistake I've made tonight. I thought we were talking about audio players for a moment. Dumb! I was getting confused with another thread I think. But all the same, QLC would make a moe reliable audio player to set as the default. As for a default video player, well murasami suggested some good ones.

I hope I didn't misunderstand u & have gone to that trouble not realising iQLC is only an audio player. Anyway my appologies.
