Wow, I've never heard of that one (then again, aside from VLC, mplayer, Quicktime, Winamp, Real and WMP, I don't really know much about other players). This one looks rather nice. If it seems to play everything, you might also want to have VLC or/and Mplayer as back-ups/alternatives, just in case.

Read as much of this (orginally posted by deepblue, I think) as you can and judge for yourself. While not exactly pertaining to WMP, it will give you some good material to think about before going to sleep.

Oh woops! Not the 1st mistake I've made tonight. I thought we were talking about audio players for a moment. Dumb! I was getting confused with another thread I think. But all the same, QLC would make a moe reliable audio player to set as the default. As for a default video player, well murasami suggested some good ones.

I hope I didn't misunderstand u & have gone to that trouble not realising iQLC is only an audio player. Anyway my appologies.
