saving problems

I am new to Livewire and am having trouble doing the simplest of thing, saving. I will tell you the steps I take, maybe I am missing something. I do the search, download the song, add the song to the library, add it to my play list, highlight the song and hit the save button and nothing happens. I have told it where I want the files saved... Is there a step I am missing? I have looked into help, but, that hasn't helped. Thanks for being understanding!

Eh?
You want to save your songs into a folder in your comp? They're already in one. Just find it and drag-and-drop them from there.
You want to save a song in the playlist? Last I heard, when you quit LW the playlist won't be saved anyway, so...

i have the same problem

Yup I have the same problem and I did the same thing. Tell you what, drag-and-drop doesnt help and I really dont know what I should do. Help please!

Since you don't elaborate your problem adequately, I'll take a guess: you tried to drag-and-drop from the Library's Shared folder to another folder, right?

its in your limewire shared folder, like C:/program files/limewire/shared folder or something like that. simply drag and drop from there.

I do appreciate the "help" I received, even if it was a bit on the demeaning side. After playing around in Roxio CD Creator, I found what I was looking for.

Well, I'm sorry if I sounded like an ***, but let's face it: you didn't elaborate enough, did you? People don't expect you to write down the story of your life, but just say a couple more stuff pertaining to your situation man. I mean, read the rules: "10. Posts should have descriptive subjects. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents." Of course you at least tried to give more info, but still, describe the steps you take, maybe even your computer setup (it's in the rulez too) if you feel it can help... Anything.
