Breaks in songs

Is there any way of preventing breaks throughout a downloaded song? I have downloaded different variations of the same song and still get second long breaks throughout the song. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this annoying problem? Any suggestions as to how to prevent this would be appreciated.

If you have this problem, it's probably best not to use LW's media player. Instead use your own default player. You should be able to use your own player instead of LW's media player. That's if you're using LW of course.

Thank you kindly. I will give this a try.

In the options you can uncheck "Use LimeWire MP3 player". Then double clicking will use your default player.

Thanks so much for that helpful hint. My Media player works perfectly! Thanks again.

I have used Real Player and had similar problems. Switched to the Windows Media Player, but it converts all MP3 files to wma format, and then you can't convert them back to MP3s. So I now use ITunes player, and like it pretty well. No problems. User friendly.

If you still have the same problem, try not to run too many programs simultaneously.

I'm now using my Windows Media Player. Works perfectly! All files are still MP3's and NO breaks in the songs. Thanks for the info.
