Help...anybody.

Hi, I downloaded Limewire a few hours ago. Instead of having redownload all the music files I had from kazaa I "somehow"(not sure how it happened) got them in my library here on Limewire. But for some reason all my received and saved pictures that I had on my computer have disapeared. They aren't in the recycling bin, I tried to restore my computer to the settings it had prior to me downloading Limewire and they still aren't there. I had a lot of em and now they're gone so I'm kinda stressing. Does anybody know what happened, what I maybe did wrong, and how I can get em back? Hopefully somebody can help me, thanks.

Don't stress! If you can't find them using the "search" function they can still be on your hard drive. Look for a program called 'File Scavenger' (a search turned up 32 results). It will find anything deleted on your hard drive.

I turned my pc into a picturesque black screen awhile ago - ty microsoft  - and even after a helpful person brought it back to life there was much he was unable to retrieve. 6 months later I used this program & was able to get my files, music, etc back. It also was able to retrieve inf. I had deleted about 2 yrs ago, despite nonprotected deletes & frequent defrags - very scary stuff!

Also, you mentioned restoring your computer - winxp? I think system restore only works for programs & settings, not for data.
