Sharing Folders on Both C and D Drives

Hi,

I have about 1700 MP3's in a folder on my D Drive - which i don't mind sharing. and currently only 180 on my C Drive.

I had no problem adding an additional folder on my C Drive - i'm just struggling to get it save the folder on the D Drive.

I've tried adding - 'to share' this folder (on the D Drive) on numerous times - tools>options>sharing>add, however it continually fails to save it.

Has anyone else got this problem - better still sanyone know how to fix it ????

thanks
Chris

did you click apply.....

Hi,

I'm using V4.08 if that helps?
There is no 'apply' icon in the tools>options>sharing window.
The only Icons i have is 'add' and 'remove'

Should i see an 'apply' icon in this window - should I remove & re-install limewire ??? And see if that brings up the 'apply' icon.

Now i'm puzzled - because i managed to get it to save C>my shared folder, as an additional 'shared folder' - but obviously managed this without an 'apply' button.

Thanks for your suggestion
Chris

You should have an apply & OK button. Drag your window down. You're not the 1st person to be caught by this. Drag your window down so you can see the xtra buttons. See this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=22047

Thanks a stack - great advice.

- I dragged the window bigger and like you said & the icons have appeared now.

All the best
Chris

I wonder why this happens. a glitch?

At least this was an 'easy-fix'

Usually when a window is not in full view at least one slider-bar appears by default - and allows us to scroll down.

I think i've got used to the idea that if there's no scroll bars, then i'm seeing all there is to see in that window - i'll remember this from now on though !!
