What does "hits" mean?
 

I'm sorry if this is a newbie post, but I've put some of my own files into my shared folder. When I look at them in Limewire, does the 'hits' mean the number of times that the file has been uploaded?

No. Translate it to your language and you have the anwswer. :)

When people are seacrhing something, Limewire looks at your files if something matches - its a hit!
