This client has the worst download speeds i've ever used. I would rather use a 56k modem and email files to myself. I have Comcast cable for my isp and should be downloading @ 2MB/S, as i do with BearShare on my PC. If BearShare would support multiple platforms then i would definatly use that instead. But since this is the "best" mac filesharing client im stuck with the worst speeds ever.

Also try not to force resume files unless absolutely necessary. A well tuned setup should mean some dwnlds will restart upon their own accord. Sometimes LW needs some baby-sitting however.

If you really don't like LW, try Aquasition (do a google). I would use that except it cost cash. You can use it for free but it always nags you to buy the full version.

2Mbits per sec, not MBytes. If it was MegaBytes, you'd be paying your *** off but would be getting full videos faster than you can blink your eyes

Bearshare and Limewire use the same network, so you can´t download much faster with bearshare.

Actually, all the clients that have a section here connect to (at least) Gnutella.

I believe that is the reason why CycloCide called this site gnutellaforums. But I might be wrong. ;)
