Is it possible to search by user?? I've tried doing a search and couldn't seem to find anything on it. A friend and myself are trying to find each other so we can swap files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Any help from you would be greatly appreciated too: you post in the General Gnutella net discussion which doesn't tell us which client you are using... (I suppose LW, but...)

Yes, I'm using Limewire & also Windows XP if that makes a difference.

You could both always check out the beta which has a specific search option for Direct Connect (searches particular ip addresses.) To trial it out, best if one/both of you have a file that only you could possibly have. Give it a unique name.
