newest limewire pro version

What is the newest limewire pro version? ..and how to update?

I know 4.0.8 is the latest version for the free one.

The latest version (both pro and free) is 4.1.11, but LimeWire 4.2 will be released these days.

By the way, LimeWire pro and basic are usually in sync as far as version numbers are concerned unless there were any pro-specific bugs that had to be fixed.

i see. If that's the case, how come it says latest version is 4.0.8 at www.limewire.com ?

LW 4.0.8 is the last official release. All releases since are the beta releases. And very good they've been too. I very happily use 4.1.0 & its improvements are worth it.
