I cant transfer files from hard drive to LW

Im having a hell of a time trying to transfer my music playlist from my hard drive to LimeWire. I ended up transfering my entire hard drive. I created a folder My Playlist on LW, but I cant get just the music files to transfer. I know its a common thing to do but I need help.
thanks,
Mohan

Thanks for the PM your description makes it a bit clearer. I don't know much about LW's playlist function. But to share files, well that shouldn't be too hard.

1. Let's find your music. Use your OS search function (eg: Bottom left click on 'Start' & choose 'Search' & select 'Files or Folders ...' Then type in a name of one of the songs in your audio player's playlists, or just ".mp3" When your search results show up, click onto the name of one of those songs on your playlist. It will show you the location & path in your directory at the top of the search box. Write this down.

2. Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Sharing & press the Add button. You will need to direct LW to where the folder you wish to share is located. Refer to the location you found in the above search. Now once you've located it, it can be added. then press the Apply & OK buttons. Then go yto your LW Library window & press the Refresh button. You will now see this new shared folder from your audio player's playlist at the top left & if you click onto the folder it will list the songs to the right of the shared folder list. In the sample image below, you can ignore step B if you wishbecause that's for adding your LW Saving or Dwnld folder to the shared list also. I hope this answers your question.
