What do the stars under Quality mean?

I read in the LimeWire User's Guide that on the Search tab the
stars in the Quality column indicate the chances of having a successful download. However, do the stars also indicate anything about the quality of the file being downloaded? For example, would an audio file with four stars usually have a higher bitrate than an audio file with only one star?

Thank you.

No, they only indicate the chances of downloading the file successfully.

Which allows me to see the chances of successfully downloading from anyone else on the network. But how do I find out how many stars _I_ have?
