I'm Lost! pleeease help?
 

My downloads in my sharing file and currently downloading songs are downloading under realplayer instead of wma. Does anyone know how to change this so i can play downloads on windows media again? :confused:

You posted in the wrong section of the forum. WHich p2p app are you using. I'm having a guess that it's Limewire, right? We need to know that 1st.

I'm on limeWire4.0.8 I've had this for about a month and haven't used it much so i dont really know to much about it. I started reading the forums but i haven't seen anything that can help me. I downloaded a few songs they were all in my sharing file with WMA icons now Theyre all Realplayer and everything i download is realplayer. I wanna change them back to WMA can you help me out? Id Appreciate it!

That probably means you want/need to change your default mp3 player. Outside of LW, select one of those files (WMA) & go to File>Properties>Open with... & select WMP & choose always open with. Now they should be fine.

Oh by the way, you should not be posting in the Gnutella discussions sections of the forum. In future post in the Limewire section. It's about half - 2/3 way down the list of sections & you'll see several dedicated sections to different types of LW problems. ;)

I have LW pro 4.0.8 my downloads were always for WMP now all my downloads in my sharing file have changed and are downloading under Realplayer. Lord tried to help me out but i'm not getting it. Can someone pleeeease help me change this back to WMP?

Do what I told you, close down LW. Then open it up again. If necessary restart your comp to make sure the changes have taken effect.

Whilst LW is closed, go to your music or shared folder. Select one of these WMA files. Go to File>Properties, etc. & change to WMP to open the file. Then restart the computer. Now you should find the changes have taken effect. :)

You are using WIndows right? If you're using mac then the instrutions are different.
