*sigh* ok so i wuz bout 2 burn a cd from off of my iTunes. an i had jus imported all my songs from LimeWire 2 that program. Well, then i thought "hrm. why do i need LimeWire nemore since i hav 'em all on iTunes?!"...so i deleted everything n my LimeWire. an NoW nun of my songs on iTunes will play =( it jus says "cannot locate.." blah blah blah. so yeh...im a HuGeAnTiC stoopidass...can NE1 help me?!?! Is there a way 2 get all the songs bak or am i jus totally screwed an now i gotta d.l. ALLLL those songs again?! =( blah. i suk! ahah..*sigh* =(............N Need Of A Genius-Nikoal

You're obviously a Windows user! In Windows, iTunes does not import the songs from LW. What it does is create a Limewire playlist. This is purely a reference to the files you have dwnlded & are in your LW Dwnld folder.

So if you only deleted the LW program, your files should be still in your LW dwnld folder wherever that is. The default location I think is usually C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

Else, use your search engine to search for .mp3 & see what folders show up.

If you deleted your LW dwnld folder, have a look in your Recycle Bin. If that's been emptied then you'd need to use a file recovery utility to get them back or else re-dwnld them with LW. :)
