Deleted My Media Files

Hi, I am new to LimeWire and just did something very stupid. Not knowing what I was doing I deleted all my songs (4000) from my shared folder in LimeWire. And when I went off LimeWire and tried to access them from my own folder on the hard drive they were not there. Does anyone know how I can get them back or have I lost them??? I hope not.
