 adware Sorry folks, my reason for believing that Limewire has adware/spyware is my PestPatrol software finds over 130 entries all in the Limewire programs everytime I run it. I update it regularly. Strangely, Ad-aware 6.0 doesn't, so I researched on the web. Cnet and PC World group Limewire, Kazaa, and other P2P software in their review/explanations and say that these programs are usually filled with adware and spyware. So, the two together made me believe this is the case. I have since downloaded several other pest software programs, and they don't "find" limewire as a pest. So, I guess this means it isn't???  |
