"counting" shared files
Hey everyone, I'm new to LimeWire via recommendation ... question for you: on the bottom left of the screen (when I load up) it checks to see how many files I'm sharing then (I'm assuming) uploads them to be available for other users ... does this have to be done every boot up? Or is it a one time thing? It's taking forever! Thanks ...

That's right it can take a while. It depends on both how many & how large the files you are sharing. It happens everytime you open LW. So best advice is to open LW & let it settle for 10 to 20 mins before searching. Just as in the same way you turn the comp on & wait for it to boot up & settle.
