a REAL newbie Hi ya'll; Yep' a real newbie. I don't know where to start...how about something like...I've never posted anything before, at least anything where I could figure out how to find my answer if someone replied. But I hope after using this for a while... you people seem to be so helpful (from all the threads/posts? that I accidently managed to to log on to) I'll get all the help I need. OK so, How do I ask a question, is that considered a thread or a post? and when someone answers my question/s is that a reply a post or a thread? I don't know why, but I feel really embarr essed about it because I guess I feel I Ishould know. My inbox already showed a "new message"... would you believe it I couldn't tell if was a new message welcoming me to the forum or someone had an answer for my question...which, I couldn't remember if I even tried to send one?.... how's that for a Newbie? oh' you'll have to cut me some slack here... I'm a newer O L D E R member... if you get my drift. hey I know... why not send me an e-mail for now? regards: confused: |
First Contact The latter part of your post I take it, your insinuating I have less than an ounce of experience...is that right? well you are right, because I'm not sure what you meant by... THANKS FOR ALL THE FILES?...WHAT FILES? |
Har har har lol :D You got caught there Peerless. Give me those files back! Or was that fish? 1rewd1 it's purely his signature. It appears at the bottom of all his posts. :) It's like a joke! Another piece of advice, have a look at the 'Sticky's' in at the top of every section. These are similar to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ.) Have a look at the one by Deepblue called Sticky : Newbie's Guide To Writing A Good Thread. This & others have valuable info in them that can help you & others before you post a question. ;) |
