never see anyone sharing my files
 

I think I have all the settings correct, but when I belonged to Limewire a couple of years ago, I always noticed that others were uploading my music, but I never see that happening anymore since I have rejoined. I used to be able to see searches also, and I found that interesting to see what people were looking for.

i am having the exact same problem. i recently installed a wireless router, which uses a local arrea connection window to connect to the net, but before that, it always showed me connecting through "sbcglobal-dsl"

since the change, i have over 600 files yet it looks as though no one is downloading--before, it would be jammed.

i want to share my files

Salut, are you guys in LW 4.8? Go in options - error report - > see an exemple and copy here the following lines:

Received incoming this session: true
Number of Shared Files: 668
Guess Capable: true
Received Solicited UDP: true
SIMPP version: 7
Port Stable: true
FWT Capable: true

1)Received incoming this session: if true it means you are unfirewalled on the port used by LW, good sign.

2)Port Stable: if true, this increase a lot the chances to get uploads.

3)FWT Capable: if true, that means that you can upload even when you are firewalled. If that line is false, you won't see uploads. This is bad sign. The ISP or you antivirus/firewall could be blocking all exchanges.
